Meet The Staff

Paula Goth Evans joined the firm in 2004 and is therefore the matriarch of the ARWB staff!  She is the paralegal to Scott Richart, and therefore she does everything from managing clients’ discovery, to scheduling, to billing, as well as meeting with clients throughout their legal process.  This is not Paula’s first firm to work for, but the ARWB family certainly hopes it is her last!

Paula is married and has six grandchildren to chase when she is not in the office.  She is also the firm’s resident plant expert and makes sure all of us have greenery surrounding us in each of our offices!

Roma Prins

Roma Prins has been the legal secretary to Andrea Welch since 2019.  Among her many duties are helping with client management, scheduling for Ms. Welch, and making sure that Ms. Welch is able to continue wearing the many hats that she wears as both a criminal defense attorney as well as the prosecutor in Sugar Creek, Missouri.

Roma is also willing to pitch in wherever she is asked and has assisted the other ARWB attorneys when her skills are needed in their particular cases as well.

Roma is married and enjoys spending time with family when she is not with her fellow firm members.

Kris Dillon

Kris Dillon joined the ARWB family in 2018 as the “first voice” of the firm.  She brought her years of experience in hotel management to the front desk and serves as the firm’s primary receptionist.

Given that she is the first person most people calling our firm get to speak with, she is often the first person who helps our clients find the relief they are looking for.

But Kris isn’t just a member of the ARWB family, as she and Andrea Welch are also cousins!  Therefore, every day at work is a true family affair.  She looks forward to taking your calls and being on the front lines for those who need help.

Dawn Smith

Dawn Smith has been a vital part of the ARWB family since joining the firm in 2006.  She is the legal assistant to Erin Bajackson and Montanna Hosterman, handling all scheduling, billing, and literally every other task that is thrown her way.  She is often the first person to speak with clients about their particular needs and she plays a key role in making sure their issues are communicated to counsel.  If there ever was a true “utility player,” Dawn would fit the bill hands down!

Dawn is married and enjoys spending her time chasing her eight grandchildren when she is not taking care of everyone at ARWB.
